By 2010, member organizations of Regional Service Providers of Wyoming collectively represent over 300 years of experience in delivering services to persons with developmental disabilities. Our members have grown sophisticated in use of the latest technologies to assist persons with disabilities, in assuring health and safety programs are in place, and that our direct support professionals regularly receive extensive specialized training. RSP members have been and consistently are recognized nationally as being leaders in their profession. All eight programs have worked diligently to attain the highest 3-year accreditation level from CARF…The Accreditation Commission. Ark Regional Services has been providing services to adults and children with developmental disabilities in Albany and Carbon counties in southern Wyoming since 1963. Ark provides people the opportunity to learn and grow in an enriched environment while focusing on their uniqueness, who they are, and what they want to become. Community Entry Services is dedicated to empower people with disabilities to maximize independence and to lead satisfying, productive lives in the community. CES is a private non-profit corporation and has provided over three decades of quality service to persons with disabilities. Services are available in Riverton, Lander, Jackson, and Casper, Wyoming. Since 1975, dedicated staff members have provided training to adults so they can live and work in their communities. We now offer a variety of services to develop and enrich skills through two divisions Dignity, which helps adults and children with developmental disabilities gain the most independence possible in their own community, and Rocky Mountain ReEntry Services, to meet the individual needs of persons who have had a brain injury. The mission of Diversified Services, Inc. is to provide training and independent living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities so they may become as self reliant as possible and lead more meaningful lives in the community. We offer community living, personal, and social services, and a variety of employment opportunities within the community of Torrington, in south eastern Wyoming. Lincoln Self Reliance, Inc., was established because of particular needs in the community, and a desire to develop more opportunities and improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities residing in Lincoln County. LSR provides quality services and gives dignity and respect to persons with special needs. Sponsored by the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club, Magic City Enterprises has served Wyoming adults and children with disabilities since 1971. Our mission is "to create opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve individual success." MCE services include case management, day habilitation, and residential habilitation. Our extensive community employment programs have received national recognition. Specific residential programs focus on community integration, behavioral development, and health care needs of consumers. Cheyenne Professional Rehabilitation Services, our professional service branch, includes community employment, job coaching, nursing, occupational therapy, and psychology. NOWCAP Services began providing services to persons with developmental disabilities since 1985. In 2003, NOWCAP Services achieved its sixth consecutive 3-year CARF accreditation. NOWCAP Services also provides a broad range of services throughout the state, including weatherproofing, foster grandparents, migrant worker, and preschool programs. Services to persons with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury are currently available in Natrona, Converse, Hot Springs, Park, Big Horn, and Washakie counties. In Casper, NOWCAP has available over 20 different community living sites, and we provide residential support services, supervised living, respite care, and case management. We have many community-based employment opportunities for those we serve, as well as day habilitation programs, and retirement and recreational offerings. RENEW was established in 1972 in Sheridan by a group of concerned parents who had children with disabilities. Today, with locally based services for both children and adults in Sheridan, Gillette and Newcastle, RENEW serves persons primarily from Sheridan, Campbell, Weston, Johnson, and Crook counties. Services with supports are individually designed for each person, focusing on that individual's preferences, interests and needs. Core services such as personal, social, life skills, employment, and community support are available in all communities served, but each has also developed its own array of specialties. In Sheridan, comprehensive psychological supports are accessible to persons of all ages with disabilities, and elder programs are in place. Also in Sheridan, LifeQuest provides an array of clinical services for persons with a variety of disabilities and needs. Gillette can support individuals with disabilities that require comprehensive non-hospital based medical services while still residing in the community. Home health care nursing and senior day care are options here as well. Additionally, Gillette has in place therapeutic horseback riding, to develop sensory and motor skills.
